This Kick off was a bit different than we are used to! Everything online, however what a way to kick off Phase! Read more about the key messages and learnings during our 1st Transnational meeting, Phase 2.

In spite of our initial disappointment in having to replace our planned Dublin meeting with a series of online meetings, phase two of our network activities kicked off on a positive note with four high energy and highly interactive online sessions. You can find the key messages and learnings from the sessions below:

Session I & II: Rebonding & Reframing

Session one focused on partner rebonding, as well as reframing our project in the post Covid19 world. Session two was dedicated to project management issues and to agreeing the reprogramming of planned activities for the remaining 27 months of the action planning network.

Session III: Insights into gender and diversity!

Session three was led by ad hoc expert Dr. Mary Dellenbaugh-Losse. Mary is lead expert of the Gendered Landscape Action Planning Network and she led a hugely informative and active session focussed on operationalising diversity in our Urbact Local Groups and in the planning & development of our Urban Resource Centres.

Session IV: Rediscovery Centre & Eco Canvas Model

Session four saw our kick off meeting close on a high note with inspiring presentations from Dr. Sarah Miller, CEO of the Rediscovery Centre in Dublin and from Mr. David Tobin, Circular Economy and Renewables Director for Beauparc Utilities. The session focussed on developing Urban Resource Centre business models and showcased two very inspiring and diverse sets of business models namely the Rediscovery Centre and the planned Huntstown R&D Centre, by Beauparc.
