3rd Consultation Meeting for the Municipality of Roquetas de Mar

The aim of the meeting was to put together and discuss the proposals of the Associations concerning the Local Action Plan. The first association to speak was CEPAIM who talked about its proposal "Building Social Cohesion in the 200 Homes", that is focused on developing plans for social inclusion. Later the Association "Al mouhajin" proposed the creation of the hospital, and the Association of Guinea-Bissau spoke manifesting the need to create a common building for all associations with meeting rooms, places for cultural activities, leisure rooms. Other two Associations intervened: The Association "Al-haman" who proposed the reactivation of the football field of the "200 Homes" that has been abandoned and is now without electricity and the Association of Equatorial Guinea who proposed the creation of a children's playground in the "200 Homes" area claiming that the only place where children can play is the Plaza de Andalucía that is not suitable for children. A the end of the meeting the "Fulbe" Association talked about the bureacuratic obstacles that make difficult to organise joint activities with other associations and the Red Cross informed the participants about the initiatives that are being carried out in the teaching of the Koran in the Mosque and the opening of the CEIP "Juan de Orea" in the afternoons that gives the possibility for young people to organise and realise different kinds of activities. The meeting ends after a turn of questions and answers.
