Based at the Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies at the Vaasa Campus, Experience Lab is a R&D unit in the field of digital content and user experience. Our research activities focus on user experience and human centered design. Our research is based on a cross-scientific platform of human-computer interaction, human-robotic interaction, developmental psychology, and digital design research, always with application of the results at the forefront

Experience Lab has been involved in a number of R&D projects on national and European levels focusing on user experience and HCD in different contexts, including co-creative innovation processes and IoT applications. Our projects are based on our unique combination of lab and methods for user research in digital settings.
